Minecraft: Java Edition
Getting started
Which Minecraft edition and version to use, and how to get back to spawn.
Edition
Haven is Java Edition only. Bedrock cannot join, and there is no Geyser bridge. Consoles and phones on Bedrock will not connect.
Version
The server runs Paper 26.2. Install 26.2.
ViaVersion also lets 26.3 clients in. We still recommend 26.2.
Mods
You do not need client mods or a modpack. The normal Minecraft launcher is enough.
Resource pack
On join, Minecraft offers a server resource pack called CraftEngine. Accept it. A lot of Haven's look depends on that pack.
Back to spawn
Once you are in the world, /haven teleports you to spawn, right next to the Class Master. Use it when you are lost, or when you are ready to pick a class.
